This product type is commonly referred to in the industry as LKD. LKD is usually a fine-grained material, especially useful for applications requiring a free-flowing material and fine particle sizes. LKD applications are wide ranging, including biosolids management, soil and sludge remediation and as a blend with other materials for soil stabilization.

It is an off-white limestone powder predominantly finer than 2mm and available from our Exshaw and Faulkner plants in Canada. Supercal® is commonly used across several livestock classes including beef cattle and dairy. It is also often used in the poultry industry for farming both broilers and breeders.
CalCarb-PLUS powder is high purity and has low minor constituents such as silica, iron oxide and alumina. It is off white in colour and particle sizing is predominantly finer than 90 microns. CalCarb-PLUS can be used in applications including pH control for acid soil management, as a filler in asphalt, as a processing aid in mining operations and is suitable for some agriculture applications.
Shell-Mix® is commonly used as an alternative to crushed shell for poultry and is also suitable for other applications where high calcium and consistent product sizing is required.
Shell-Mix® is dedusted below 850um and is available in bulk, 1000kg+ sacks and 25kg paper bags.
Shell-Mix® products are tested regularly to ensure they meet Graymont specifications.
Unical typically has a high Calcium Carbonate level, >90% and low minor constituents such as Silica, Ferric Oxide and Alumina. Oil absorption, surface area and bulk density may vary between resources.
