Rip Rap

‘Rip rap’ describes the large-sized stone or boulders typically placed along shorelines, on the slopes of earth dams and embankments or around the abutments of bridges to control erosion and enhance the integrity and safety of the structures. Rip rap for erosion control is available from many Graymont quarries.
