Rip Rap

Also known as shot rock in some countries, rip rap is a common term used to describe large-sized stone or boulders that are typically placed along shorelines, on the slopes of earth dams and embankments or around the abutments of bridges to control erosion and enhance the integrity and safety of these structures.
