Canada Supply Chains Act Annual Report

Graymont is committed to achieving industry leadership in sustainability, community relations and social performance in accordance with our mission to improve our world by responsibly meeting society’s needs for quality lime and limestone products. We therefore fully support Canada’s forced labour and child labour reporting requirements established under the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act, S.C. 2023, c. 9 and see this as a crucial step in combatting the exploitation of individuals in domestic and global supply chains.

As a company we welcome the opportunity to help bring awareness to the global issue of forced labour and child labour, also commonly termed “modern slavery”, and we will continue to work with our employees, consultants, agents, suppliers and partners to ensure our activities have no adverse impact on the human rights of employees, community members and other third parties and that the highest ethical standards continue to be met.
