Graymont’s operations are in a variety of geographies and has provided me the opportunity to see some amazing countryside. In my role as a Procurement Manager, I have had the opportunity to work on diverse projects from acquiring large mobile mining equipment to technical laboratory analyzers. I take pleasure seeing first hand how my work impacts profitability and improves the lives of my co-workers. I am based at the Salt Lake City, Utah, USA office.

Growing up I lived in a cabin in the Targhee National Forest next to Yellowstone National Park, using a wood stove to heat our house. My father was postmaster of a one-man post office. There were frequent school snow days and the snowbanks along the road were taller than our car! As a teenager, our family moved to a small potato producing town called Ashton where I spent summers moving irrigation pipe and water skiing. One morning, my dad announced to our family that he drive us to the bus stop as he spotted grizzly bear tracks on the road in front of our house! A few days later, the bear was trapped by the Fish and Game and transported to a safe place away from humans. Now, I spend much of my spare time on road trips with family, playing games with friends, studying religion, and enjoying movies.
