April 16, 2007, Salt Lake City — Graymont’s Pleasant Gap plant in Centre County, Pennsylvania has made a significant financial contribution towards a new Emergency Services Building for the Pleasant Gap Fire Company. The fire station services the local community and also the Pleasant Gap plant and mine. Graymont’s support, along with that of other local businesses, has allowed Spring Township to maintain property taxes constant even with construction of this significant piece of community infrastructure.
