Pleasant Gap's 4th Annual Watershed Cleanup Day

Pleasant Gap – Several employees from Graymont's Pleasant Gap Plant in Pennsylvania, along with some of their family members and friends participated in the Watershed Cleanup Day for the 4th year in a row. They removed over 5 tons of debris from an abandoned quarry on Graymont's property located near the town of Bellefonte. The quarry area has a small stream that runs into Spring Creek.
 
Spring Creek is one on the most popular catch-and-release fly fishing rivers in the Eastern, US. The removal of debris from the abandoned quarry helps protect the valuable Spring Creek watershed. Marc Messenger, Pleasant Gap's plant manager said that they also support the Clearwater Conservancy’s watershed cleaning efforts with a monetary donation.
