Exshaw Plant Commended for Flood Assistance

Graymont’s Exshaw plant and employees, in particular Steve Czank, have been commended for providing assistance during a potentially dangerous flooding situation near the town of Exshaw. A front-end loader and operator were provided to assist in battling collapse of the banks of Jura Creek and assistance was offered to rebuild the banks.

Paul Ryan, Reeve of the Municipal District of Bighorn, thanked Graymont and Steve for their contribution:

“Not only do the companies bring employment, charitable contributions, and materials for the surrounding area, but they can be counted on to provide assistance when the community needs it the most. We are proud of your work, pleased that we were able to work with you, and grateful that Graymont is there when their services, equipment, and manpower can assist the community in diverting potentially disastrous situations.”

Graymont takes a long term view of its business and the lime industry and is looking forward to continuing its work in Exshaw and in so doing, improving our environment, contributing to the community as a good neighbor and adding value as a responsible business partner.
