Plattsburgh, June 21, 2010 – Scott Bombard, Sales Manager at Graymont Materials, in Plattsburgh, NY was named Chair of the 2010 Plattsburgh Start! Heart Walk.
Scott has served on numerous boards in the North County Community and personally believes in the work of the American Heart Association. He has had his own history, both family and personal with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, suspected blockages, etc. and when asked to chair this event, could not say no.
The event takes place Saturday, September 25, at the US Oval and City Gym in Plattsburgh, with a goal of raising $165,000. The funds will go toward research and education to fight heart disease and stroke.
