Boucherville, March 5, 2007 – Graymont’s Bedford plant was nominated “Company of the Month” for January 2007 during the Brome-Missisquoi Gala Excellence 2007. Gala Excellence recognizes business excellence of companies located in the Brome-Missisquoi region of Quebec. Start-up of the new crushing plant, investment in environmental improvements, and community relations efforts were considered in the nomination. The award was presented to Allen Walsh, Graymont plant manger at Bedford.

     Graymont takes a long term view of its business and the lime industry and is looking forward to making additional investments in the Bedford plant. This investment will provide a solid foundation from which Graymont can continue its work in Quebec, and in so doing improve our environment, contribute to the community as a good neighbor and add value as a responsible business partner.
