Richmond, BC, November 23, 2015 – Graymont announced today that, following extensive public and First Nations consultations, it has filed a British Columbia Environmental Assessment application for a proposed lime plant and quarry operation to be constructed near Giscome, BC in the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George.

Vancouver, Canada, June 30th, 2015, Christchurch, New Zealand, July 1st, 2015  — Graymont, an emerging global leader in the supply of lime and limestone products, has finalized the previously announced acquisition of two New Zealand-based producers, McDonald’s Lime and Taylor’s Lime.

Naubinway, Michigan  – Graymont welcomes the approval by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources’ (DNR) of the recently updated Graymont Land Transaction Application, which involves the sale and exchange of lands within Mackinac and Luce Counties.

Following a recommendation from senior department officials, DNR Director Keith Creagh approved the Graymont land transaction application during a March 19 meeting of the Natural Resources Committee held in Roscommon, MI.

December 15, 2014 — A global producer of lime and limestone products has today announced it is entering the New Zealand market saying this shows their faith and confidence in this economy.

Holcim [New Zealand] Limited and New Zealand Steel Limited have entered an agreement for Canada based company, Graymont to purchase their shares in McDonald’s Lime.

Graymont has also entered an agreement with Holcim to acquire the assets of Taylor’s Lime from the company.

These agreements include the retention of all employees on their current terms and conditions.

Prince George, BC, September 17, 2014 — Graymont, one of North America’s leading lime producers, and the Lheidli T'enneh are pleased to announce that they have entered into an agreement with respect to Graymont’s proposed new lime plant and quarry near Giscome, British Columbia.

Newberry, Michigan — Graymont, one of North America’s leading lime and limestone producers, confirmed today that, subject to regulatory approvals, it intends to move forward with a new limestone operation in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Subject to required regulatory approvals, Graymont intends to resume quarry operations at the previously mined Hendricks Quarry site in Garfield Township. Limestone from the quarry will be hauled by truck to the Sand Products Dock on Lake Michigan.
