Havelock, NB – Graymont’s Havelock plant made significant financial contributions towards a project to install sidewalks (sidestrips) in the community of Havelock. Plant manager Andre Vanagten is proud to announce that after seven years the project is now complete.
Installing the sidestrips greatly improves safety for school children and other pedestrians in the community. Graymont’s contribution leveraged other private donations and additional funding from the Province of New Brunswick. We have been proud to be part of this project and extend our thanks to the other participants who have all worked together to improve the community of Havelock.
Graymont takes a long term view of its business and the lime industry and is looking forward to continuing its work in Havelock and in so doing, improving our environment, contributing to the community as a good neighbor and adding value as a responsible business partner.
